It’s that time of the year again where we raise our glasses to Mr. Guinness himself! Arthur Guinness Day on Thursday, 22nd September 2011.  The party starts at 7pm!  Come on down to the O’Connell’s Irish Pub with your friends, family and loved ones and join us in the Guinness party of the year!

Arthur’s Day is a worldwide celebration that will see a series of music events and celebrations take place in cities around the world to celebrate Arthur Guinness, his remarkable legacy and the much loved GUINNESS!

The highlight of the Arthur Guinness Day celebration will see musical artists and GUINNESS fans in four cities in Ireland and around the world raise a GUINNESS to Arthur at 17:59 local time on 22nd of September in a truly remarkable global toast to kick start and evening of celebration.

Arthur Guinness Day is a celebration with substance designed to recognise and honour the philanthropic legacy of Arthur Guinness and his family via the Arthur Guinness Fund, which was established as part of Arthur Guinness Day in 2009. The Arthur Guinness Fund was established to identify and support leading global social entrepeneurs with the skills and support required to deliver measurable, transformational change to communities around the world and will continue to invest in this area in 2011 and beyond.
